Dollahite Racing announced today that it will be back in 2026 with the Ford Mustang GT3 in EVO configuration, recruiting Pro level drivers Cameron Lawrence and Alex Sedgwick to compete at the highest level of GT World Challenge America.

“We’re very excited about the EVO update to the Mustang GT3,” said Dollahite Racing Founder Bill Dollahite. “Ford Racing and Multimatic Motorsports put a lot of effort into the updating the car over the last two years and particularly last season. The EVO update should be a great balance of power and handling, which will make the car easier to drive and optimize at all tracks.”
The team will make the leap into the Pro category of the SRO sanctioned GT World Challenge America, returning with the No. 6 Dollahite Racing Ford Mustang GT3. During the off-season, highly qualified pro drivers from around the world were anxious to pilot the Dollahite Racing Mustang GT3, which emerged as an Am-class title contender last season with six victories .
Lawrence is a two-time Trans Am Champion, and a 2015 class-winner in both the Rolex 24 At Daytona and Sahlen’s Six Hours of the Glen. Sedgwick completed his first full season in GT3 racing in 2025, competing at the top of the Pro class field.
“We evaluated a lot of drivers that were all great and making a final selection was challenging, to say the least,” Bill Dollahite said. “The biggest news is that, at least for the beginning of the season, lead driver Scott Dollahite will be taking on a management role with the team rather than running the No. 6 Pro entry.”
“Dad asked me to take hold of a different kind of wheel while he recovers from knee replacement surgery, which is a great opportunity to experience racing from a new perspective,” Scott Dollahite said. “Stepping into a management role gives you appreciation for what it really takes putting all the pieces together.”
“These two drivers are great complements to each other, as well as the team, with good feedback on the dynamics of the car. We’re really excited to spray tons of champagne this season and nail down the Pro championship.”
Dollahite Racing will kick-off its 2026 GT World Challenge America campaign at Sonoma Raceway, March 27 – 29.
DRIVER QUOTES
Cameron Lawrence, No. 6 Dollahite Racing Ford Mustang GT3: “I’m very thankful for this opportunity from Ford Racing and Dollahite Racing to drive the Ford Mustang GT3 in the GT World Challenge America Pro class. We have a strong driver line-up, and I’m looking forward to working with Alex and Scott. I’m hopeful that we can help Ford finish high-up in the championship with the new EVO package. The sound of the naturally aspirated, V-8 engine sets Mustang GT3 apart It’s very fitting for me having been in the Trans-Am Series.”
Alex Sedgwick, No. 6 Dollahite Racing Ford Mustang GT3: “This is a start of a new, exciting chapter. I’ve followed the Ford Mustang GT3 since it launched, and I’ve had a lot of interest. You know it’s going to be a great car when it’s supported by Ford Racing and Multimatic Motorsports. I came to the U.S. three years ago chasing a professional racing dream, and I’m very thankful for Scott and Bill Dollahite for keeping it alive. This team is ready to make the leap into the Pro class, and we’re aiming to give Ford a GT3 championship.
